My name is Justin and I work as a security engineer for a technology consulting company in the midwest. I have my MCSA 2003 + Messaging, CCNA, CCSP, and CCNP.

Having just completed my CCNP I am now studying for my CCIE Routing and Switching written exam while all this routing and switching goodness is fresh in my mind.

The purpose of this site is two-fold, one to serve as a study aid and two to help me improve my writing skills. I read somewhere the best way to learn something is to teach it to someone else. From experience, I know that to be true. While I study for my CCIE, I plan write about the topics as I learn about them. To be able to explain something in written form and have it be understandable, I am going to really need to understand the subject matter.

Besides being about my routing and switching studies, I also plan to write about more general technology and security stuff. You won’t find anything on the latest tech gadgets here, just information that I hope will useful those reading it. I’m interested in a lot different technologies so the topics here will range from basic internet stuff to linux servers and workstations to Cisco routing and switching.

Tech Justin

Tech Justin is a blog focusing on Cisco networking, security and other tech stuff that interests a guy named Justin.

I'm a security engineer with my CCNP and CCSP. I've decided to take the plunge and begin working on my CCIE R&S certification. I love technology and all that if can do it. I also believe most end user technology needs to be more secure and protect an individual's privacy by default.
